Honestly, we love these metal litter boxes. Best money we've spent. They don't soak up odors at all. Weekly deep clean is super quick and easy. In our store, we use pine pellets in one, and clay (non-clumping) in the other. And we haven't noticed any clay sticking to the surface.

Totally worth the price.
